Course Objectives
- To develop a comprehensive understanding of the field of management and to integrate theoretical concepts with Pakistani corporate as well as public sector’s issues.
- To learn how to be an effective and efficient management in this ever-changing world.
From Newspaper
In order to stimulate awareness for the topics/ issues / problems of management particularly in public sector, each student is required to bring one newspaper cuttings per week to the class. The issues/ problems/ underlining theory related to that will be discussed in the last 30 minutes of the three hours class. Student has to maintain a log of such cuttings. A copy of the log has to be submitted to the course facilitator in last lecture of the semester.
Class participation
In the whole semester there will be opportunities to get participation points/marks through meaningful participation in class activities. There will be reading assignment, topic related assignments, presentation, Q & A, etc. A lack of participation in these activities will be automatically reflected in your final marks.
Quizzes / Assignment Guidelines
In the second lecture, each students will chose a topic to work upon. Most of the assignments given/ quizzes will be related to the chosen topic. The number of quizzes will be four.
Assignments /final document submitted should follow the guidelines.
